Someday I may add the
Daily Kos.
Kind of doubt it, though.
The Most Useful Sites on the Web
Someone emailed me this list. I use most of these links all the time, so thought
it appropriate to reproduce them here.
A Cool Look at Global Warming
This is a much more thorough treatment of a theme I've been speaking and
writing on for years. It's from Australia (Sydney Legacy 30 June 2011),
but then warming is global, nicht? We know, of course, that the data underlying
this ridiculous hypothesis was deliberately falsified by certain college
professors whose professional ethics approach that of garden slugs, but as
this presentation shows, global warming never did make any scientific sense.
A Business Plan
This business plan is in two phases: Phase I is a plan for making and selling
hydroxy generators to improve gas mileage by up to 40%. We expect to be able
to make a business out of this, the profits from which will finance Phase II.
Phase II is a plan to make and sell one solar and at least one free energy
device to generate electricity from the zero point energy flux. Also featured
is a bookstore, the Zero Point Bookstore, featuring various aids to whatever
your lifestyle might be, assuming you had all the energy you could use.
A collection of links to free/solar energy sites
A navigator's guide to the vacuum energy (zero point energy, quantum energy) flux,
also called the "quantum foam." These links are dedicated to getting rich people
off the grid. Also has links to other alternative stuff, like airplanes and
helicopters, flying saucers and much weird science. Judge for yourself.
The Impeach Obama Campaign
If you want to get actively involved, here's where to do it.
Reasons to Impeach The One Who Has No Birth Certificate
The count at last count had reached 32. Not all of them appear valid to me, but
then, it only takes one.
A Brief Review of Presidential Powers
Don't worry, though. Andrew Jackson is gone and it can't happen here.
Even if it did, it would be for our own good.
A Charming Aspect of the Clinton Co-presidency
Definition of "Coincidence": 47 violently deceased bodies trailing off after Bill
and Hillary Clinton who in life had nothing in common but a relationship with one
of them.
Note, however, that neither Clinton was ever convicted of anything any more than
were O. J. Simpson -- well, before September of 2007 anyway -- or Al Capone. Note,
however, that -- Snopes to the contrary -- George W. Bush doesn't have anything
like this trailing after him. For that, you have to go all the way back to John
Kennedy.
Townhall
I need to caution my conservative friends about allowing themselves to hate
Democrats. That is like hating syphilitics or lepers: understandable perhaps,
but rather low rent. A better course would be to seek a cure for this deformity,
and this site offers a pretty good one. Dozens and dozens of conservative,
libertarian, Republican and neocon essayists.
The Drudge Report
News that might be considered unfit to print by certain passe, irrelevant,
insolvent, failing news organizations. The front page lists all the writers
you'd find at Townhall.com, plus a few more.
Ann Coulter
Website of the Adored Coulter, who has never made an utterance with which I
disagreed. Only she and the
Esteemed Limbaugh
can make that claim.
The Practical Guide to Free Energy Devices
Despite the protestations of no less an unimpeachable scientific authority than
Hillary Clinton, no science is ever "settled." The free energy devices in this
ebook usually evoke a sniff with a muttered "perpetual motion." Just for
starters, many of the devices described in this book are patented. The Patent
Office will not issue a patent for a perpetual motion machine; therefore, many
of the devices described in this book have been shown to be other than perpetual
motion machines. This may be weird science, but it is real.
Andasol 1: A Solar Plant That Works
Mr. Sun's pure, golden sunshine is also free energy. So is his massive efflux
of other electromagnetic radiation, which would be quite sufficient to fry us
like hamburgers but for the magnetosphere. Andasol 1 belongs to the only class
of solar power systems that works in any sensible way, and can be scaled down.
The Junk Science Home Page
If you’re ignorant about science, as most citizens and virtually all
liberals are, you’re the lawful prey of every pimp, shark and flim-flam
man with a yen for the contents of your wallet. Steve Milloy debunks the junk
and delivers the truth.
National Right to Work
Unions extort the difference between what their members are paid and
what their services are worth. Since most union activity is in government,
government workers now make something like 30% more than productive workers.
Private sector employers try to compete with government for competent labor,
can't, and end up shipping US jobs overseas. Here’s something you can do
about that.
Infowars
And while we’re at it, here's where Alex Jones lives.
Disclaimer: Some visitors to Checkpoint Charlie may find some of the
opinions expressed offensive or hurtful. If you are one of these visitors,
to the extent that you engage in such an activity at all, I don't give a
rat’s patoot what you -- I guess you’d say -- think. Click
